Cilantro-Chile Chutney
These are very hot little firecrackers from the orient. They can be used to add spice to almost any oriental dish. They dry very easily and can be stored and used this way for a long time.
Ingredients:
1 small onion, chopped
3 green Thai chiles, chopped (can substitute serrano or jalapenos)
1 bunch cilantro, washed, chopped
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp white pepper, freshly ground
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
Place ingredients in a blender and puree. Add more lemon juice if needed for moisture.
