Avocado Salsa
Jalapeños are the most popular chile peppers in the US. This is probably due to the availability and versatility of the chile. Jalapeños have a balanced combination of flavor and heat. The demand for these have caused breeders to develop a broad range of varieties.

INGREDIENTS
1 ripe avocado, halved, pitted, and flesh scooped out
1 fresh jalapeno, cut into quarters
1 cup water
1 tablespoon white vinegar
3⁄4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, minced
2 tablespoons onions, diced
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend all ingredients on high speed until very smooth. Add salt to taste, if desired. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge, at least a week.
