Avocado, Chile-Lime Sauce
These are very hot little firecrackers from the orient. They can be used to add spice to almost any oriental dish. They dry very easily and can be stored and used this way for a long time.
Ingredients:
1 avocado, mashed
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small Thail chile, stemmed, seeded and minced
4 tsp. fresh lime juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. chopped fresh cilantro
salt and pepper, to taste
garnish, fresh cilantro
Instructions:
Stir all of the ingredients together in a small bowl, and chill until you are ready to serve.
Garnish with some chopped cilantro.
Yields 1-1/2 cups.
