Spicy Roast Beef Sliders

Jalapeños are the most popular chile peppers in the US. This is probably due to the availability and versatility of the chile. Jalapeños have a balanced combination of flavor and heat. The demand for these have caused breeders to develop a broad range of varieties.

INGREDIENTS
1 (28 oz) cooked and finely sliced spice rubbed beef roast
9 small sweet buns or slider buns
4 oz pepper jack cheese (I just used deli slices)
1 jalapeno, finely sliced
Cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS

Cook roast according to package instructions, then let rest and finely slice it.

Preheat oven to 350, spray a square baking dish with cooking spray.
Slice buns in half and lay bottom halves in the baking dish, pile the meat on the buns, then place cheese slices on top of meat and jalapeno slices on top of cheese. Place top buns on top, and bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven, run a knife between the bun edges, then serve and enjoy!
