Spicy Pimento Cheese Pizza

Jalapeños are the most popular chile peppers in the US. This is probably due to the availability and versatility of the chile. Jalapeños have a balanced combination of flavor and heat. The demand for these have caused breeders to develop a broad range of varieties.

Ingredients

1 pizza dough, homemade or storebought
3/4 cup pimento cheese (homemade skinny jalapeno version, or storebought)
sriracha sauce
spinach
tomato slices
jalapeno slices

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F.

In a cast iron pan, roll out pizza dough.
Scoop the pimento cheese on top and spread evenly, adding more if needed
Add sriracha sauce, spinach, tomato and jalapeno
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until crust is browned.

Notes

If you want to opt for a less spicy version, leave off the extra jalapeno peppers and/or hot sauce, or remove the seeds from the pepper.
