Spicy Avocado Cauliflower Toasts

Jalapeños are the most popular chile peppers in the US. This is probably due to the availability and versatility of the chile. Jalapeños have a balanced combination of flavor and heat. The demand for these have caused breeders to develop a broad range of varieties.

Serves: 2 Toasts

Ingredients
1 batch of Jalapeño Roasted Cauliflower*
2 slices whole grain bread
1/4 teaspoon olive oil
1 medium avocado
salt and pepper
5 radishes, thinly sliced
1 green onion, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons to 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce
1 lime, sliced into wedges
1 small raw jalapeño, thinly sliced for topping (optional)

Instructions

Prepare Jalapeño Roasted Cauliflower as directed in recipe.
When cauliflower is ready set toaster oven to toast and brush each slice of bread lightly with oil. Toast bread until golden.
Mash avocado onto toasts and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer jalapeño roasted cauliflower on top of avocado. Sprinkle with radish slices and green onion. Drizzle with hot sauce.
Serve toasts immediately with lime wedges and raw jalapeño slices if desired.
