Cliff’s Hot Sauce

Jalapeños are the most popular chile peppers in the US. This is probably due to the availability and versatility of the chile. Jalapeños have a balanced combination of flavor and heat.

2 jalapeño peppers
1 (28 oz) can while tomatoes in juice
1 slice white onion
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt

Remove the stems from the jalapeño peppers, and the seeds from one jalapeno. Place both jalapeno peppers, tomatoes with liquid, onion, garlic, cumin, oregano, and salt in a blender. Pulse to desired consistency. Serve.
