Apple & Cheddar with Jalapeño Slices

Jalapeños are the most popular chile peppers in the US. This is probably due to the availability and versatility of the chile. Jalapeños have a balanced combination of flavor and heat. The demand for these have caused breeders to develop a broad range of varieties.

  • 1 apple, cut into 8 wedges
  • ½ jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 ounce sharp Cheddar cheese, cut into 8 small pieces

Instructions

  • Top each slice of apple with a piece of cheese and slice of jalapeño.
